Recent releases have showed that we as a small developement company can’t test every configuration and thus bugs slip through our qualtity control.
Many users have helped us to narrow down those bugs (thank you very much) but now we want to make sure that the release version is bug free – we need some dedicated beta testers for this job.
If you are interested in helping us to make better software, please send an email with your application to iphone@rapidrabbit.de. We need the following information:
- your UDID (how to get it your UDID)
- which iDevice you are using
- which iOS you are using
You should speak english or german to participate.
Our biggest update for appbzr is available so far – unfortunately a very ugly bug has slipped through (it was introduced by another bugfix we added in the last minute, before uploading). Luckily it’s only a cosmetic bug – the app should work as intended.
We are working on a quick fix right now and hope that Apple will release it soon! We feel very sorry for any inconvenience.
Update: Version 1.1.1 is now available (thanks @ Apple)!
Here is the complete changelog:
New Features:
- new Search-API for better results
- Updated Apps – see which apps have been updated recently
- Recommended Apps – by Flurry AppCircle
- search button added to home screen
- new Design and support for retina display!
- spanish localization
Bugfixes:
- app no longer crashes with very long wish lists
- navigation bar no longer disappears randomly
- fixed a bug with dots in a search string
- “redirect to AppStore” now disappears correctly on multitasking devices
- badge is removed correctly on multitasking devices
An update for our appbzr is now available – it fixes many crashes and you can now see all screenshots of an app. However it seems that people sometimes have problems with the update. Please use the feedback option in the settings menu to tell us about it, don’t write it in your review. We can’t answer reviews and thus can’t solve your problem. So send us an email instead.
We have been busy in the meantime and nearly completed a much bigger update that should be available next week. Here is a short preview on what it will include:
- new improved search (should find many more apps and is easier to find)
- see the latest updated apps
- get AppCircle recommendations
- many bugfixes
It happens to the best – unfortunately we missed some bugs, when we released appbzr. We immediately started fixing them so we could upload an update today.
Here is the changelog:
1.01
- fixed a bug that lead to crashes when saving some apps on a list
- fixed a bug where some countries could not see app prices
- all screenshot of an app will now be shown
- some adjustments for compatibility with iOS 4
If you’re still having problems or want to see a feature in a later update, let us know!
